This beautiful vivid green Tsavorite has been sourced all the way from Tanzanian mines. Tsavorites are the rarest of the garnet family, and can be easily mistaken for an Emerald due to their stunning green hue. However, it is important to note that these green gems are much rarer than Emeralds! Tsavorites were formed billions of years ago due to the compression and refolding of rock which occurred in between continents. These metamorphic movements created many gems like Tsavorite as a result, which is a silicate compound.
