Yellow diamonds are quite rare specimens in the diamond market, when compared to the more commonly found colorless diamonds: it has been found that for every white diamond found, there is an estimated 1/1000 chance that you will find a yellow diamond. Across the band of hues for yellow diamonds, the lighter the hue, the less expensive. So, this fancy vivid greenish yellow diamond lies on the upper end of the band, but becase it has a blend of green (A secondary hue), is is not only more affordable, but very rare. Secondary hues make the diamond one of a kind, because you can never find another fancy color diamond with the exact same proportions of color!
